Posted: 2004-09-09 07:28:00No, but my dad had worked in Cyprus for a few years and said it was a nice place despite the political stuff (Greek vs Turk). Apparently, it can be tough travelling north to south past the capital, so plan ahead in case you get stuck on one side of the "border"...

Posted: 2004-09-10 10:56:00I heard that it was very nice... one of the best around. The service is supposed to be very good, and you'll get AC with everyroom, plus a tv - they don't have room service though. I don't know how many people are going with you, but the 4 person villas are actually a room for two, plus a sofabed for the other two. Otherwise, it's up a bit on the mountain just outside of Kyrenia (maybe a mile and a half away, but you could walk it if you were stuck).
